Earlier in October, an article by Harry Mottram appeared in Print Monthly on ‘print industry artisans who know their ems from their ens’. He writes about the ‘vintage presses’ which are keeping traditional printing skills alive. Some are operating machines dating back to the mid-nineteenth century.

Get Creative in Dundee
You can download the Get Creative course brochure to see what’s on at the print studio at Dundee Contemporary Arts. It gives details of courses running up until March 2016 and there are opportunities to learn about papermaking, bookbinding and a range of printing techniques.
