Bursary awards available

His­toric Scot­land has a bur­sary award avail­able, for indi­vid­u­als who want to devel­op their skills and under­stand­ing in the field of tra­di­tion­al print work, through study at Robert Smail’s Print­ing Works in Inner­lei­then, owned by the Nation­al Trust for Scot­land. Pre­vi­ous expe­ri­ence is not required, but you should have good hand skills and demon­strate an enthu­si­asm for con­ser­va­tion and a high lev­el of craft poten­tial. The award, of £14,500pa, is of 12 months’ dura­tion.
