Display on the history of the Scotsman

There is a dis­play fol­low­ing the his­to­ry of the Scots­man at the Nation­al Library of Scotland’s George IV Bridge build­ing in Edin­burgh. From 18 Jan­u­ary to Sun­day 8 April 2018 the library’s  trea­sures dis­play on The Scots­man: 200 years of a Scot­tish news­pa­per will tell the sto­ry of The Scots­man. It will show how the paper report­ed on key events from the past 200 years, fol­low­ing its found­ing prin­ci­ple of pub­lish­ing ‘with­out fear or favour’.
