The National Library of Scotland has added a number of World War I ‘rolls of honour’ to their digital gallery. Among them is the Roll of honour of Caxton House Printing Office, Dundee, published in 1920. The book includes details of the printing career and war experiences of employees, and in some cases there are also portraits. You can view the whole work on the website.
You can also browse all the rolls of honour by place or by the organisation which published them. They include lists from James Thin, the Edinburgh booksellers, and for the firm of John Menzies.
