An exhibition on the history of east London’s print industry opens at the Nunnery Gallery in Bow Road, London E3 on 17 January 2020. It will include historic photographs and printed items as well as print workers’ memories, told through a new collection of oral histories. Using archive and newly found material from companies, co-ops and radical presses, the exhibition will document changes in the print industry, exploring the role east London played and celebrating forgotten processes.
