A major exhibition is opening at the Hunterian Art Gallery of the University of Glasgow on Friday 27 February 215. Ingenious impressions: the coming of the book charts the development of the earlt printed book in Europe and explores the transition from manuscript to print and its impact on late medieval society. The University of Glasgow holds one of the UK’s most important collections of books printed in the 15th century.
