An exhibition of book covers, Leafing through Natural Scotland, is at the Gateway Gallery at the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh until 21 July 2013. It is curated by Publishing Scotland, and forms part of the celebrations of the Year of Natural Scotland. This weekend is also the last chance to see Nature Printed: Examples of Nature Printing from the Collection of the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh, at Inverleith House in the Gardens. It is the first exhibition devoted to the Royal Botanic Garden’s collection of nature-printed books, which is one of the world’s finest: the exhibition contains plates made by Henry Bradbury (1832–1860) which have recently been conserved and are being exhibited for the first time. For more details see the Botanics website.
