Talk on the Legacy of the Printing Press

Tim Hon­nor, who owned Pic­co­lo Press in Nairn for 20 years is to give a talk at Nairn Book and Arts Fes­ti­val on The Lega­cy of the Print­ing Press  — ‘The most impor­tant inven­tion since the wheel’. He will speak about the inven­tion of print­ing, and show pic­tures and videos of a range of print­ing press­es, includ­ing the unique Cos­sar Press that the Trust is try­ing to pre­serve as a per­ma­nent work­ing exhib­it, in asso­ci­a­tion with Nation­al Muse­ums Scot­land. As well as being one of our Trustees, Tim is edi­tor of the British Print­ing Soci­ety Month­ly Magazine.
