The next Typo­graph­ic Sur­pris­es event will be held in con­junc­tion with the Print­ing His­tor­i­cal Soci­ety on Zoom on Thurs­day 16 June 6.30–8pm. New printing museum in France

The Ate­li­er-Musée Imprimerie (AMI) opened at Malesherbes, 70km south of Paris, at the end of Sep­tem­ber 2018. The 700 objects on dis­play include 150 machines. There are also work­shops for vis­i­tors to try mak­ing paper, or learn paper mar­bling, type com­po­si­tion, print­ing and bookbinding
